Comfortable beds, clean rooms and a good breakfast. Outward appearances are shabby but internally the hotel is functional. Good value for money. Close to city centre. Would use again if passing by.
Waited 2 hours for reception to open when we arrived at 1600h. The Receptionist was doing some gardening maintenance.

I was given standard king room with central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The beds were large in the pleasant bedroom...

Very comfortable hotel.
When I booked I didi not realise it did not have a restaurant. My husband and I were travelling with two elderly ladies and it was inconvenient to have to go and find somehere else to eat. The breakfast was ok if you liked croissants or toast but there was nothing with a reduced sugar or fat content.

Ease of access, parking, friendliness of front-desk staff, helpfulness (allowed us to store stuff in their fridge/freezer), comfortable room with bath (not just shower) and most of all, value for money,
Expensive breakfast - €9.50 for a Continental Breakfast - I would expect a lunch for that.

The club king room had a bath and tea, the staff were accommodating, and the location was great, very close to the town center.

Both rooms were spotlessly clean. The furniture looks brand new and the mattresses quite comfortable. It is a very good value for money.
Smell in corridors like insects killer. Breakfast coffee could be better.

Off road parking
It was extremeley difficult to find and we'd no warning that the centre of Niort is being dug up making it impossible to use the hotel directions or our sat nav as streets were being closed as we reached them. We eventually left our car in a car park and walked to the hotel to find where it was and after three attempts found a shop selling street maps which we used to get round the road works. When we arrived and told the receptionist she could'nt have cared less. The room would have been ok for a single traveler but it was too small - nowhere to put anything and the toilet and shower area were separated by a concertina syle divider. No privacy, too hot (duvet). Long walk to town to get a meal.

Spacious bathroom, room with a modern and functional vibe. the hotel is conveniently located near some great restaurants and bars that were lively on a Thursday night in February after 10 pm. 🍷 It's also close to the train station.

We had a little difficulty in locating the hotel only because of road works in the town. But it was a little gem. Friendly staff excellent parking as good a breakfast as one could expect in France.Very handy for an evening stroll to city cafes. Great find for an overnight and we will definitely return.
